Someone was telling we have the most corruption free government in the world.
Does he realize that we have one of the best paid government in the world?
And our MM says that if we want the best leaders, we should expect to give the best wage.
So loyalty to country should be scrap off the SAF's core values isn't it?
BTW did not get caught doesn't mean it doesn't exists
in a proof by contradiction no contradiction doesn't mean the statement is correct
in hypothesis testing do no reject does not mean accept.Hypothesis testing is just a screwed up form of proof by contradiction anyway since statisticians can't do much math anyway.
Which reminds me of a story...
Once upon a time a thief escaped from a city where he was wanted into a country town. And he got elected as the town's leader. True to his thief nature he made a law stating that stealing is not against the law and everyone in the town started stealing from each other. When the city's police arrived at the town wanting to arrest their man everyone was like
"what's wrong with stealing?"
Here's another...
Our big boss man gives you a drumstick...
Meaning you better be prepared to pay him a whole chicken.
But that's not the end of the story
Why?
Dude you still own him a drumstick.
The person I was referring to in the first sentence is my father btw. Now you sort of know why I always say my life is an obstacle to my dreams.

Taiwan
Recently Taiwan had that bad bad natural disaster right?
Then everyone was so sad on TV, crying over the loss of their loved ones and property.
And then people started to point finger at the president, at the minister. Which is a total waste of time and effort as the president won't resign and those bozos aren't smart enough to recall such things during the next election
Then people started donation drives which I don't really dare to give because I'm sure there's more than one Durai in this world.
Then suddenly!
The sentence of the previous president Chen was passed down and suddenly everyone's attention was diverted to whether the sentence was too light, too heavy and how they are going to get the money back.
And nobody bothered to point finger at Ma again.
Perfect timing in terms of Chen's sentence it seems. A perfect decoy event. Yet the Taiwanese don't realize anything.
Chen must be thinking "chao chee bye so many presidents in the world with everyone in the business and I'm the only one caught"

Eugenics
hm...from my point of view
The only thing worth studying in life science and psychology is Eugenics.
Those who disagree with me are advised to go watch the anime MONSTER.
Surely my big boss man agrees with me.
If not why would there exist stuff like GEP, SAP schools, Top 5 JCs, IPs
Don't you ever wonder why usually pretty girls, cool guys come from so and so sec school, JC?
Simple, genes at work. All course this accounts for just a majority, its for a mathematical for all argument.
Conversely all peasants in Jurong should all have some similar look too. So recently I make an effort to observe all the fellow commuters faces when I take bus 172.
And true enough
I think my theory is correct
I think to myself
"Look at all these god-damm faces"
"I cannot be like that...."
You might argue..."hey there are condos and terrace housing in Jurong also wad"
yar and do you expect those people to take buses?
Putting JP1, JP2, JP3 is like telling us
Ok guys we have put all things that you guys can afford into one shopping center so just hang around that area and please don't go town and pollute other parts of Singapore. If things get worse we will build a super cage and cage up the whole of Jurong.
I admit I do admire A.H for his balls, firmness, his bravery to express his views and his daring to put his thoughts, plans into actions.
Time to build gas-tanks...in my head.

Copenhagen
Today LIFE interviewed a Singaporean lecturer who is working in Copenhagen
1) It has recently closed a major capillary road in the name of carbon reduction, which speaks volumes about the city's environmental stance.
2) the generally relaxed atmosphere
3) an atmosphere that does not make people feel like they need to constantly get ahead. It is an environment which treasures living for the moment and savouring the small but fine things in life, especially the space to pursue things outside the economic realm.
Anyone dares to bet with me if given a choice whether he wants to "return to his roots"?
Same as some posting I had before..."he has some human hostages" herehahahahehehehohoho

MOH
Recently some man in white says his job is really tough
He has to make so many decision on this, on that every day
Sorry sir so do you actually wish to be...
sweeping PIE,ECP?
Collecting dirty dishes at the coffeeshop under my house?
Be a taxi-driver?
Teaching a class of twenty normal technical kids maths and writing a ten-page lesson plan followed by a five page reflection for every lesson?

NDP
It is morally right to spend millions on a NDP
When there are thousands of jobless people?
When there are so many elderly who help to build our nation from a third world country to first world country collecting empty cans, cardboards just to put food in their mouths?
Think hard
It is real
Think deeper
It does not make sense at all

Singaporeans
Either Singaporeans do not know how to think properly, or that our media reports are so good that its brainwashingish
Each time when the unhappiness of Singaporeans rises due to increased tax or prices or lesser space due to foreigners.
The media publishes things like
"WE ARE NUMBER 1 IN THIS"
"OUR ECONOMY GROWTH IS SO SO SO MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT EXPERTS HAD EXPECTED"
And then most Singaporeans go
"Hurray!
WE ARE.........NUMMMMMBBBBBERRRRR 1"
And then they forget everything else
Things like a
NDP
F1 race ( which is not even intended for us but to attract all the rich tourists into town to shop at Orchard)
and we all get so high.
DO those people realize that their troubles are still there and the people causing their troubles are still alive?
Simply irrational

Recently
I always gena track faults when I'm on a MRT train...on the way to take Pong's car, on the way to a SAVA gathering, on the way to meet Peiying, on the way home after tuition.
And then you always hear some announcements saying they are terribly sorry over the inconvenience caused.
Fuck lah
Why don't they just make an effort to compensate us monetarily to make us and supposedly them too feel better?
I'm correct right? If they are indeed really feeling guilty by compensating us they won't feel so sorry anymore isn't it?

SBS
You know recently there's some complains in the forum stating how SBS buses are infrequent and slow...rightly so
Then some bozo replied on the forum saying that...
Be grateful that we do not have to wait for more than fifteen minutes for any bus unlike in Europe where buses can come every thirty minutes.
That fucking son of a bitch with no nuts and brains.
Does he realize that all European countries are at least thirty times larger than Singapore?
Does he knows that in Europe the exact time of arrival of the trams, buses are stated at every stop and it is exactly right to the minute?
And in Singapore where buses are supposedly efficient we can't even put those timings at a bus-stop.
you know why we can't? Let me tell you why
Because we have so many fucking red-lights such that even Euler won't be able to produce any mathematical model to describe our traffic structure.
I dare put my job on the line that the bozo speaking up for SBS drives a car to his work/school everyday.

more thoughts
Finally got some time to vent off the thoughts in brain
You know how whenever people complain Singapore lacks this, Singapore lacks that. Or that we are overworked.
Our boss always says..."Don't compare...be appreciative of what you have..."
Yet somehow the papers always publish results of some bloody surveys results that state we are top 5% in this lah, top 10% in that lah.
When white shirt white pants stands on some platform and gives a speech we have get some statistics of where we stand on Earth.
So who is the government comparing to sia?

proof that sum of interior angles in a plane triangle equals 180 degrees
Proof 1 (Euclid)
Let ABC be a triangle, and let one side of it BC be produced to D. Draw CE parallel to AB (Proposition I.31). Since AB||CE and AC has fallen upon them, the alternate angles BAC and ACE are equal (Proposition I.29). Also by Proposition I.29, since AB||CE and BD has fallen upon them, the exterior angle ECD is equal to the interior and opposite angle ABC. It follows that the exterior angle ACD is equal to the sum of two interior and opposite angles (in triangle ABC) BAC and ABC:
ACD = CAB + ABC.
Add on both sides ACB. On the left we get two right angles; on the right the sum of the angles in DABC. Q.E.D.
Proof 2 (The Pythagoreans)
The Pythagorean proof is even simpler. A line parallel to the base BC is drawn through the vertex A, which gets us two pairs of alternate angles: CBA, DAB and BCA, EAC. Now, angle BAC complements, on the one hand, CBA + BCA to the sum of the angles of DABC, and, on the other, DAB + EAC to two right angles.
